Walk in the Light
John 8:12
January 15, 2026
God calls us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. But are we truly walking in it, or are we hiding?
God doesn't call us to blend in — He calls us to shine.
In John 8:12, Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." This is not a passive promise. It is an invitation to follow — actively, intentionally, daily.
But following the light means leaving the shadows behind. It means stepping into visibility when it feels safer to stay hidden. It means speaking truth when silence is easier. It means living in a way that points to something greater than yourself.
**The Question to Ask Yourself Today:** Are you living in a way that others can see the light of Christ in you? Or have you been hiding your faith to avoid discomfort?
Walking in the light isn't about perfection. It's about direction. It's about choosing, day after day, to follow Jesus into the brightness — even when the world prefers the dark.
Shine your light. Live unhidden.
